Security Officer - Driver Field Response

About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Field Response in Elwood, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Friday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
