Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store, surrounding walkways, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report potential theft, policy violations, or other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store personnel, management, and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation while communicating professionally with clients, shoppers, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.50 / Hour

• Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
