About the Role
As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Government. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for visitors, staff, and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and event attendees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government sports and recreation facilities, parking areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and direction of guests in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Schedule
Day Time: Wednesday and Thursday, 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
