About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology and business services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position may include operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will support access control and alarm response activities while communicating professionally and working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, business perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or facility concerns, and assisting with emergency procedures as assigned.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$21.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
