The position is for a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation in Disputanta, VA, serving and safeguarding clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for deliveries, contractors, and other site visitors.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, and security‑related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.76 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time, Daytime: Wednesday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Friday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
