What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and access control processes to help to deter unauthorized access and support day-to-day site operations.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing high-traffic areas, reporting concerns, and following post orders related to packages, deliveries, and/or sensitive work spaces.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
