Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator Commercial Business

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a healthcare location, where you will help coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses across the site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive calls for service, and dispatch personnel to routine incidents, priority situations, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, maintain activity logs, and relay timely information to site leadership, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal management according to post procedures.
• Support access control activities by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor information, and communicating with departments regarding approved access, deliveries, and/or after-hours requests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that could help to deter disruptions to daily operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
