Security Officer Dispatch Operations

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate security-related communications, document incidents, and help direct responses with strong customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Monitor communications, cameras, alarms, and/or other reporting systems to dispatch personnel to incidents, maintenance needs, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document calls, incidents, and/or daily activity in dispatch logs and reports, helping to support accurate communication between on-site personnel, client contacts, and/or emergency responders.
• Cook up access requests, visitor-related inquiries, and/or after-hours notifications in accordance with site procedures for a fast-paced business environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
