About the role

As a Dispatch Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor incoming information, document activity, and support timely responses to incidents. You will help maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, service requests, and incident information to assigned personnel and appropriate property contacts.
  • Monitor security-related communications, alarms, cameras, and building systems as assigned, escalating unusual activity or critical situations according to site procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, shift activity reports, and communication documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and support regular and random patrol activity throughout the commercial property and perimeter.

Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.26 / hour

Schedule

  • Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
