About the role

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate records, assist with access-related requests, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused data center location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize requests for service, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor and contractor activity records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor security-related systems, including cameras, alarms, access control, and communications equipment, and promptly report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with notifications and coordination with site contacts and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.18 / hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
