Security Officer Dispatch Communications Specialist

About the role
As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate records, assist with access-related requests, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused data center location.
- Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize requests for service, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor and contractor activity records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor security-related systems, including cameras, alarms, access control, and communications equipment, and promptly report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with notifications and coordination with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
