Security Officer Credential Verification

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location in Dallas, TX as a Part-Time Security Officer Credential Verification. You will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and credential checks to help support authorized access for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entry points, loading areas, and perimeter spaces, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and staff regarding entry requirements, directions, and security-related procedures to help support orderly operations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$15.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
