Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic public service location. In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, assist visitors, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. You will also contribute to routine patrols while delivering customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach.

Job Schedule

  • DayTime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor access to the location by following site-specific entry and visitor procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
