Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and delivery access, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations at the location with professionalism, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location by maintaining post records, following key control or badge procedures, and assisting with traffic flow for vehicles and deliveries.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
