Security Officer Patrol Credential Verification

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, and help to identify suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unsecured areas.
• Support site operations by observing vehicle and foot traffic, communicating security-related information, and assisting with routine post duties as directed for the assigned location.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
