Security Officer Credential Verification
About the role
Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control procedures, and support a professional environment through visible presence and strong communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor check-ins, and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
- Document deliveries, pickups, trailer movements, and/or other site access activity while maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual incidents to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with staff, visitors, drivers, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
