Security Officer Credential Verification

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to support badge access and communicate security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday–Tuesday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors, following established screening, sign-in, and restricted-area protocols.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
