Security Officer Credential Verification

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures that help to deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols.
• Monitor access control points, check credentials, issue visitor passes when appropriate, and document arrivals, departures, and/or restricted area activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, entry gates, dock areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence, observing site activity, and completing required reports with accuracy.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
