Security Officer Correctional Facility

About the role

As a Security Officer Correctional Facility in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns while maintaining confidentiality regarding client, employee, and customer information.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
