Security Officer Correctional Site

About the Role

As a Security Officer Correctional Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This is a part-time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, respond to alarm activity, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter (working environments and conditions may vary by client site).

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
