Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic industrial location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate security-related responses, and support site operations with professionalism and care. In this fast-paced role, you will help maintain awareness of activity, assist with incident reporting, and deliver outstanding customer service. Schedule

  • Position Type: Part Time
  • Day: Tuesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to onsite personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Coordinate routine and urgent dispatch requests across the location, helping to support timely communication between officers, supervisors, and/or client contacts.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and other records related to calls for service, unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed to support dispatch operations and site procedures. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
