About the role

As a Security Officer Operations Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This is a part-time, unarmed role where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet-based tools, you will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$26.25 / hour

Schedule

• Part-time, late evening
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
