Control Center - Security Officer

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Ambassador with sharp observation skills and attention to detail to monitor security systems and detect potential threats.

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Ambassador, you will work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses, spotting threats before they escalate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• State license if required

Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $17.85 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, Saturday through Sunday, 1st shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
