Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or community amenities to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Prepare clear reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations and provide courteous assistance with directions, questions, and resident concerns.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
