Security Officer - Condominium Complex Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate professionally, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with community policies.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Tuesday: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
