Security Officer Clearance Required Operations

About the role

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. This role contributes to a secure work environment while fostering a caring, people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments varying by site.
• Monitor access activity and support visitor, employee, and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Pay

$21.53 per hour.

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 05:00 AM – 01:00 PM
