As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting site operations with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.

- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following established entry and exit procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-control observations, and other security-related matters.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
