Security Officer Clearance Required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location protocols common to aerospace and defense environments.
• Support site personnel during routine operations, drills, and/or escalated events while maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, property, and security-related compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Skills

• Computer or tablet proficiency is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
