As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related situations with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facilities, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with controlled-access requirements and protect sensitive materials, information, and equipment through adherence to established procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
