Security Officer - Clearance Required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with security-related incident reporting, customer assistance, and de-escalation of challenging interactions while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
