About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location in Anaheim, CA as an unarmed patrol officer. In this part-time role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting conditions that could help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and help to support orderly operations in accordance with site expectations.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
