Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
