Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, creating a people-first experience for employees, visitors, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or security-related concerns.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear directions to guests, and following post orders and reporting procedures during daily operations.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred Skills
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $24.45 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time, Saturday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sunday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
