Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas to help manage authorized entry and visitor processing in a healthcare location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor information, document access activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access-related issues and escalating concerns when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles is 21 years of age.
