Job Description

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at an education location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control and badging, and remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and communicating entry requirements for the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity to help support authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, common areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and support established policies.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to visitor management, deliveries, and security-related incidents and/or maintenance issues observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
