Security Officer Badge System Support

About the role

As a Security Officer Badge System Support in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services office location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned office areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor visitor access, maintain visitor logs, and provide professional directions and assistance to employees, guests, and vendors.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time | Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
