As a Security Officer Badge Issuance Support in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control, and support badge-related activities. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activities and respond to security-related needs. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building operations in accordance with established site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
