Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by reporting maintenance concerns, unusual activity, and policy violations, and by assisting with visitor processing and delivery access procedures.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
