As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with access control and badge systems.
• Preferred customer service experience.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Job Schedule: Day Time, Thursday 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Friday 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
