Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in an armed post.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, perimeter points, and restricted zones, noting unusual conditions and/or suspicious activity.
• Verify access permissions for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at entry and exit points, helping to support authorized access control procedures in a defense-related environment.
• Maintain assigned armed post equipment, complete required activity and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or local contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Physical ability to perform security-related tasks.
