Join Allied Universal as an Armed Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting residents, guests, and property staff. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and notable observations, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of arm security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard is required.
- Have at least 2 years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour
- Job Schedule: DayTime, Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
