Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Complete routine reports and logs related to access activity, incidents, and policy observations to help support daily operations within a healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
