About the role

As an Armed Security Officer - Retail Center Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in retail/mall environments. This part-time, driving post requires professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while supporting a caring, reliable, and innovative culture focused on people first. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and potential hazards; assist with access control, crowd management, and incident response during busy periods.
• Support store operations by communicating professionally with management, employees, customers, and first responders while following post orders and assigned protocols.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Level III Armed Certification (Texas only).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Pay

$15.50 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
