As a Security Officer Armed Reception Driver Security Clearance in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. In this stationary role, you will help to deter incidents through strong communication, professionalism, and attention to detail, while supporting daily operations with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor check-in processes, and supporting access control activities at a government location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation related to security-related activities and daily operations.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and the public while supporting security-related procedures, directions, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
