Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns; report observations and assist with appropriate response actions.
- Maintain awareness of assigned areas, document incidents and patrol activities accurately, and communicate professionally with management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay
Part-Time, $26.50 / Hour. The job schedule is as follows: Friday 2:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Saturday 2:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Sunday 2:45 PM - 11:30 PM.
