Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support site operations by communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during routine activities, emergencies, and special situations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing Requirements
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
