What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, while maintaining professional communication with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess an armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
