Security Officer Armed Patrol Full Time

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Marietta, GA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while working collaboratively with a team that values integrity, innovation, and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to sensitive areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$27.03 / hour

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
