Security Officer Armed Patrol Full Time

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location in Suwanee, GA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused corporate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and applicable armed post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
