Armed Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations

As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. • Pay Rate: $25.93 / Hour
• Monday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tuesday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sunday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or hazardous conditions, and document incidents through accurate written reports.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
