Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a critical utilities location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, critical infrastructure, restricted areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, equipment concerns, and other security-related incidents
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders
• Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents through detailed logs and reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements

Requirements

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
• Be at least 21 years of age
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
